Thunderbird Wreaths Across America 2017

The Wreaths Across America campaign will be completed this Saturday, January 20th, with the clean up of the wreaths. The UOD is ABU/BDU, otherwise, jeans and a CAP t-shirt or solid white t-shirt. Bring a broom stick or similar to be used for picking up the prickly wreaths and gloves will be helpful to keep the pine needles from poking you or worse. Thank you for your participation.

The Wreaths Across America campaign was a complete success, with the wreaths distributed to the majority of the Houston National Cemetery! We had CAP representation from at least 3 flights across the Houston area, with more than 30 cadets and many extras.  Additionally, there was representation from the JROTC, Boy Scouts, Royal Rangers, Police, Military from each branch, and others.  The amazing part was watching our community work together to honor those who have given the ultimate sacrifice, by placing the wreaths while saying a benediction on each site.  We thank you for your participation and we hope to see everyone who can attend. Join in this once a year celebration of Honor and Sacrifice!  Take a moment to view the photo album for some up-close and personal viewing.
