Recruiting and Retention is Everyone’s Responsibility:

Please remember to bring old copies of Wings Over Texas and The Volunteer to me at the weekly squadron meetings.  These are useful as recruiting tools. If you leave them in waiting rooms or other likely places, be sure to ask permission first, and remove the address labels and any other personal identification from the copy of the magazine. Keep some CAP brochures handy in case people ask you about what we do.  Be thoughtful about how you present the CAP, and if you are not sure how to answer, refer the question to me or the squadron commander. Neighborhood newsletters are also welcome.  We may be able to place announcements in them abut squadron activities.

Those who have already brought CAP magazines for distribution:

C/2Lt Holly Fieglein

1st Lt Pamela Branum

C/MSgt Hunter Wright

and those who brought in neighborhood newsletters:

C Ainsley Dudley

Thank you for your support of PAO and recruitment! Please remember to remove or black out the mailing labels when donating your magazines.

We are also looking for tips for the newsletters.  If you have any clever or original ideas, e-mail them to me at PA@TX179.org.

When attending CAP events, try to take some good pictures suitable for publication.  They may be used in an article and we will be sure to give you credit if we use your picture.
